
Gordon Kangas
Managing Attorney
Gordon Kangas is an expert in taking complex facts and turning them into compelling legal narratives. His diligent research and captivating writing style speak to judges and win cases. It’s why national corporations have trusted him to make their arguments on appeal.
Gordon’s skill comes from hard-earned experience. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan before completing multiple federal clerkships. As a clerk, he advised judges and drafted opinions in hundreds of cases in U.S. District Court and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Sixth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits. He has also provided legal analysis to the justices of the Michigan Supreme Court.
Gordon is a life-long resident of southeast Michigan, where he lives with his wife and six children.
